First, let's look at the scripture found in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17)
This portion of the scripture is nestled among helping, working, being patient, loving, doing good and all the while praying without ceasing.
So no matter what you are doing, or when you are doing it. Pray! Speak to our Lord. Talk to Him about the mundane, the necessary, the important, the priority, the concerns, the hurts.
Now, keep reading this scripture and look at the rest of the verses below where it ends with "He who calls you is faithful: he will surely do it."
Now that's a promise that you can hold on to!
